Forward Montana’s Voter Guide for the 2024 Primary Election aided in helping Montana Residents become informed on how to vote, what local government review is, and critical voting deadlines. The voter guide is a means of empowering citizens to decide the direction of their democracy.
Project Description

The Primary Election voter guide sought to increase younger Montanan voter turnout in Montana’s primary election by providing critical voter information from an independent, local, and non-profit source. It was essential that all information was easily readable and had an effective hierarchy. Furthermore, the design needed to feel fun and approachable, while feeling credible and informative. The colorful brand colors of Forward Montana provided a high contrast avenue to achieve the aforementioned fun qualities.

Logo Deconstruction

The voter guide was designed as a 6” x 24” mailer with 4” content panels that folded as an accordion. The mail version was distributed to over 14,000 Montanas. A digital format was also designed to reach more voters on social and web platforms.
